Sensósfera Foundation is an organisation specialising in the research and creation of contents called Sensory Immersion Experiences. It is made up of professionals in the arts, human sciences and communication.
These Experiences seek to sensitise the public through emotional provocation, synaesthesia and stimulation of the limbic brain, with the aim of harmoniously integrating our inner being with society and the environment.
To achieve our objective we carry out research and create unique products in Colombia that are specially designed to delve into specific issues that seek to solve social problems, or also to promote a brand or product.
Sensósfera Foundation is directed by the Master in Performing Arts, Fabián Acosta, an artist with more than 30 years of experience and co-founder of sensory theatre in Colombia, and by the Doctor in Theatre Studies Diego Augusto Arboleda, who has more than ten years of experience in teaching literature, theatre history and scenic creation courses.
Since 2016, year of legal creation of our company, we have worked with different types of populations such as children, women, people with physical disabilities, indigenous communities, LGBTI community, Afro-descendant community, street dwellers, among others. We have also created 5 sensory theatre productions thanks to our own productions and national awards from the Ministry of Culture and international awards from IBERESCENA. We have also been invited to national and international theatre festivals, representing Colombia with a very good performance.
In the pedagogical area, we have developed processes and projects with universities, schools, NGOs (national and international), institutions and companies with the aim of sharing knowledge, contributing to the solution of problems and the construction of a better society.
In the commercial area, we have carried out product promotion activities and alliances with companies to explore the topic of sensomarketing.
Finally, we have also developed the area of management, with particular emphasis on the project for the recovery of the Cádiz Theatre, a property of national interest central to the promotion of national culture and performing arts.
